Story of the Week: Happy Birthday Brother !

      Last Monday ( Nov.6 ) was a normal day for Bio majors, until Sir Emman told us that it was Sir Art’s Birthday during our Microbiology class. We are all surprised, after our class we set a short meeting to the things we need to do. So we shared money for the food we choose to buy while Sir Emman give money for the cake. Then after that, we went to Robinson to buy this stuff, we first went to the Red Ribbon where we buy the chocolate cake. After that, we went to National Bookstore to buy party poppers and letter balloons but unfortunately there’s no letter A. Then the last stuff we need to buy is the SNR pizza for the food and after that we came back to school. When we came back to school we need to hide all the stuff we buy and we made cut outs of Happy Birthday for Sir Art.
         But before we do the simple surprised celebration, Rizalina and Rommel present their report about Schizophrenia and Prostate Cancer. Then after that, the long wait it over, we wait for the right time to call Sir Art hahaha even though it is not really successful. I hope Sir Art appreciate what we did for him. It was really joyful especially when we sung the Happy Birthday song and especially when we saw the smile of Sir Art hahaha (Cheska feeling so kilig because of that ! XD). Lastly, we end the celebration with a small salo-salo and ofcourse a little story-telling session about certain stuff :).

Reflection: Demo Teaching Part II

         Teaching is not easy as a profession and you will realized it when you do a Demo Teaching for the first time , from the preparation and to the ongoing activities during discussion or after. It might easy at first but the true is, it is really hard. Because the preparation for unique Instructional materials is not easy. Even in how you will master what you need to teach to your student. Of course, also writing a lesson plan is really difficult most especially if you don’t have any idea on how you will construct it, at the first place. Every individual is different from one another as well as how student are diverse.Students possess different multiple intelligences, skill, capabilities, and also learning styles that contribute on how they will internalize their learnings from time to time.
