Reflection: Cooperative Learning

Cooperative learning is very essential to every learners because it gives them more opportunity to express their ownself and their different perspective to such things.

Collaboration helps learner understand the importance of working in public than isolated in private. Collaboration within a group help them to share their common goal that must attain to have not just a higher grades but also a hollistic learning outcome.

Collaboration also help the learners to better understand convetion of such academic discourse by sharing their own understanding and to correct a misperceive information of other group member to the topic discussion. Collaboration aim to create a harmonous relationship within the group for the student to realize that effort of one another is the determinant of their success or failure as a group. Also collaboration helps the learners to enhance their social skills and interaction to have a better communication because each member of a group have a responsibility of every task given.

In cooperative learning teachers also have to attend some task to create an effective collaboration among his/her student. First, teachers must begin with the conviction that every student can share something in the attainment of the goal. As a teacher you must imply to them, to respect the opinion of each member of the group. Second , teachers must structure a task in such way that the group goal cannot be realized without the members collaborating. You must remind your student the importance of everyone works with all other members to attain the common goal or not to collaborate at all. It is a matter of sink-or-swin together. Lastly as a teacher you must remind your student that they have to reflect together as group for them to know or realized of what they need to sustained or improved in their future collaborative process.
